Jan Sapak, D.M.D.
Dr. Jan Sapak is respectful and honest with everyone he encounters. His sincerity provides a sense of well-being and calm that will surely settle any anxieties.
He attended the University of Toronto earning a degree in Microbiology with a Minor in Art History and graduated with Honors. He attended dental school at Boston University and graduated as salutatorian, number 2, in his class. Dr. Sapak scored in the top 2% of dentists nationally on his North East Regional Board of Dental Examiners.
Prior to acquiring Bethel Family Dentistry from Dr. Mason he worked as the director of a large multi specialty dental practice. Dr. Sapak has a special interest in cosmetic and comprehensive restorative dentistry and implant treatment. He is trained in Invisalign, an advanced clear aligner system. He is also trained in Botox, generally used for relief of TMJ and as a cosmetic treatment as well as dermal fillers which are used to help smooth facial lines.
He is an avid cyclist and enjoys both road and mountain biking. You will also catch him and his family on the slopes at Sunday River on the weekends. He has a love of both art and music and is a perfectionist at heart. His wife Jennifer is a registered nurse. They have 3 children Oliver, Bridget and Henry.
Tara Lunney , RDH,
Tara grew up in Bethel, Maine, and is a graduate of Telstar High School. She obtained her Bachelors Degree in Biology at Chowan University in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. Throughout school she worked as a dental assistant during the summers. After leaving the dental field for a few years, she missed the atmosphere and went back to school at the University of Maine – Augusta for an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene.
In her spare time Tara enjoys kayaking, playing tennis and working in her garden.

Sandy is a Rumford native and lifelong resident who resides there with her husband and family.
She graduated from Rumford High School in 1976 and earned her Associates Degree in Business Management from the University of Maine in 2002.
Since joining Bethel Family Dentistry in 2003, Sandy has assumed most of the business responsibilities of our practice. She has earned her Certified Dental Practice Management Administrator Certificate from the Dental Assisting National Board and continues to attend business related seminars to keep updated with the constantly changing times. She has most recently been trained in Six Month Smiles Orthodontics as well as Oral Conscious Sedation.
When not working, Sandy and her husband, Pete, enjoy traveling and motorcycling in the summer and snowshoeing and hiking through the winter and catching up with their grandchildren throughout the year.
Stephanie is an Oxford native and graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1995. Before joining Bethel Family Dentistry in 2009, she had worked as a CNA/CRMA at Norway Rehab and Living Center for 13 years. Stephanie has become a huge asset to our practice, she is always eager to learn new procedures and strives help in any way that she can. Since joining our team, Steph has earned her CDA license and has been trained in Six Month Smiles Orthodontics as well as Oral Conscious Sedation.
Stephanie lives in Woodstock with her husband, and their two sons, Some of her favorite leisure time activities are watching her sons playing sports, hiking, swimming, shopping and traveling.
Ashley N. Henschel RDH
Ashley grew up in Lovell, Maine and graduated from the University of New England with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene with her license to provide Local Anesthesia. Growing up in a family of hygienists, Ashley always knew she wanted to follow in their footsteps.
She spends most of her spare time on her boat with her family on Kezer Lake and enjoys wake boarding, fishing and swimming. In the winter Ashley likes to ski and spends the weekends at her brothers wresting tournaments.
