John R. Mason, D.D.S.
Born in Franklin, New Hampshire, Dr. Mason lived in several New England communities while growing up. As the son of a displaced Mainer though, he never had any doubt that he wanted to live and practice in Maine.
Dr. Mason received both his Undergraduate and Dental education at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, graduating in 1974.
He has been serving the dental needs of area residents at his office on the North Road since 1976. His areas of special expertise include cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and occlusal rehabilitation.
Dr. Mason is committed to keeping abreast of the rapidly changing materials, equipment and techniques available in dentistry today. He and his staff have studied extensively with leading educators in the fields of implant placement and restoration, cosmetic dentistry, rehabilitation and business management. He maintains membership in the American Dental Association and the Maine Dental Association.
When he isn’t working, Dr. Mason can be found outdoors getting his fix of fresh air. Most likely, you’ll find him on one of the Bethel‘s many hiking trails with his dog, Buddy. If not on a mountaintop, look to the skies or the track as he is an avid pilot, skydiver and race car driver.
